SharpAscent (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates sharpascent.com and publishes content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X under the SharpAscent brand. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can request your data be deleted.

Information We Collect

Newsletter subscriptions. When you subscribe to our email newsletter, we collect your email address. This is processed by our email provider, Beehiiv, which stores your address on our behalf.

Direct communication. When you email us, we receive whatever information you choose to include (name, email address, message content).

Social platform interactions. When you follow, comment on, or message our accounts on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or X, those platforms share limited profile data with us (username, public profile info, message content) as governed by each platform’s own policies. We do not purchase, scrape, or independently store follower data outside those platforms.

Website analytics. We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts on sharpascent.com. If this changes, we will update this policy.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Send you the SharpAscent newsletter and the lead magnet you signed up for
• Respond to your inquiries and messages
• Publish and distribute content across our social platforms

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Third-Party Services

SharpAscent relies on the following services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Beehiiv — email newsletter delivery
• Vercel — website hosting
• Google Fonts — typography delivery
• YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X — social publishing platforms

Data Retention

We keep your email address on file for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, which removes your address from future sends.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Unsubscribe from communications at any time

Data Deletion

To request deletion of any personal data SharpAscent holds about you — including your newsletter subscription, any messages you’ve sent us, and any data received through Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or X interactions — email us at info@sharpascent.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” Include the email address or social handle associated with the data you want removed.

We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.

Cookies

sharpascent.com does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If cookies are added in the future (for example, for analytics), this policy will be updated to list them.

Children’s Privacy

Our content and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
